Leeds United return to action this weekend when they host in-form Aston Villa at Elland Road on Sunday. Daniel Farke’s side will be desperate to kick off their winter schedule on a positive note following consecutive away defeats at Brighton and Nottingham Forest before the November international break.
A handful of first-team Leeds players flew off to represent their countries during the break and barring any unseen issues, all look to have come through unscathed so far. The same cannot be said for weekend opponents Villa, however, who have welcomed numerous players back early for assessment.
Farke and Unai Emery will both be speaking with the media later this week and injury news will no doubt be at the forefront of both press conferences. But for now, the YEP has the latest from either side below.

1. OUT: Andres Garcia
The right-back is nursing an injury and is yet to feature this season. Recently returned to training, but will need a few weeks to build fitness, given the length of injury. Photo: Shaun Botterill

2. OUT: Tyrone Mings
Forced off towards the end of Villa's 2-0 defeat against Liverpool earlier this month with a hamstring injury. The Athletic report he is set to miss the rest of this year. | Getty Images

3. DOUBT: Ezri Konsa
Missed England's second World Cup qualifier against Albania due to a calf problem and was sent back to Villa early. Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel suggested the decision was precautionary so it's unclear whether the centre-back will miss any club football. | Getty Images

4. DOUBT: Lamare Bogarde
Another to be sent home early from international duty, this time with Netherlands Under-21s due to what the Dutch FA described as 'minor symptoms'. Like Konsa, it's unclear if the defender will miss Sunday's trip to Elland Road. | Getty Images

5. DOUBT: Matty Cash
Missed Poland's meeting with Malta on Monday due to a 'minor injury', adding further woe to Villa's international break. Another that could well be precautionary, however. | Getty Images

6. DOUBT: Amadou Onana
The fourth Villa player to seemingly pick up a knock while on international duty, having been left out of the Belgium squad for their game against Liechtenstein last night. Has recently been out with a hamstring injury that has been carefully managed. | Getty Images
