Leeds United team news; Anton Stach, Dan James injury updates in Daniel Farke pre-Bournemouth press conference
Leeds United resume their quest for Premier League survival with a Wednesday night trip to Bournemouth.
Leeds United will resume their quest for Premier League survival with Wednesday night’s long trip to Bournemouth - ahead of which boss Daniel Farke will provide updates on a key Whites pair today.
Four days after Saturday’s 3-0 win at home to Wolves, a long midweek trip to the south coast now awaits for a match moved forward due to United’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
In the bread and butter of the league, Farke’s men now sit eight points clear of the dropzone, the Whites having put themselves up to 39 points with victory against Wolves in which Joe Rodon also made a surprise early return from injury on the bench.
Rodon even bagged a few minutes as a very late second half substitute, his return leaving Anton Stach and Dan James as the only two injuries.
Farke then said post-match that he was hopeful of having both players back “pretty soon”.
Ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Bournemouth, the Whites boss is holding his pre-match press conference in an unusual Tuesday lunchtime slot where updates on Stach and James will be top of the list.
We will bring you all of the news here from the press conference start time of 11.45am.
