Premier League's Bournemouth vs Leeds United fixture change plan with date details amid possible FA Cup semi
The Premier League have issued notice of a possible midweek Leeds United fixture change.
The Premier League have announced their Bournemouth vs Leeds United fixture change plan and dates in the event of Daniel Farke’s Whites making the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Farke’s men will take on relegation battle rivals West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday in the FA Cup quarter-finals, both sides looking to book a trip to Wembley in the competition’s semi-finals.
The FA Cup semi-finals will take place on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 - over the Premier League’s Matchweek 34 when Leeds are due to take in the long trip to Bournemouth for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, April 25.
But the Premier League have confirmed that fixtures currently scheduled for Matchweek 34 are subject to change depending on clubs’ participation in the Emirates FA Cup semi‑finals which take place on the same weekend.
The Premier League say that any affected Premier League fixtures will be rescheduled to take place between Tuesday, April 21 and Thursday, April 23 and that fixture amendments will be confirmed early next week.
That means Leeds will face a midweek trip to Bournemouth in the event of reaching the FA Cup semi-finals - a game which would be sandwiched in between the Premier League hosting of Wolves and FA Cup semi-final.
