Strong Leeds United at Brentford call made with clear expectation outlined after big Whites boosts
Leeds United visit Brentford on Sunday for a huge next Premier League game in the division’s bottom seven.
A strong Leeds United at Brentford call has been made with expectation outlined following big Whites boosts.
Leeds are heading for Sunday’s huge Premier League clash at Brentford having moved out of the dropzone and two points clear of it thanks to four points against Chelsea and Liverpool.
The huge boosts of a 3-1 win at home to Chelsea and 3-3 draw against Saturday evening’s visitors Liverpool have put Leeds up to 15 points - just four points behind Sunday’s 14th-placed hosts Brentford.
The Bees are going into Sunday’s 4.30pm kick-off following back-to-to back defeats at Arsenal and Tottenham but the bookies have made a strong Brentford call in making them odds-on to beat Daniel Farke’s Whites.
Clear main danger
Despite just one win from their last three games, the bookies fully expect a victory for Brentford who are no bigger than evens but as short as 4-5 with some firms.
Leeds can be backed just shy of 3-1 at 29-10 whilst the draw is on offer at 27-10.
Bees striker Igor Thiago is also considered the clear main danger man.
Thiago, second behind only Erling Haaland in the division’s goalscoring charts, is 9-2 favourite to score first and only 7-5 as an anytime scorer.
Whites no 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin is next but 15-2 to score first and 15-2 as an anytime scorer.
