Leeds United head to Brentford on Sunday full of confidence following an excellent week in front of their own supporters. Daniel Farke’s side beat Chelsea 3-1 last Wednesday before a dramatic 3-3 weekend draw against Liverpool, with Ao Tanaka’s added-time leveller capping off a memorable week at Elland Road.
Striker Lukas Nmecha missed that six-goal thriller with a hamstring issue, joining long-term absentees Sean Longstaff (calf) and Daniel James (hamstring tendon) in the treatment room. Farke provided an update on the trio in his Friday afternoon press conference before that journey down to London.
Hosts Brentford also have a few fitness issues to manage and have lost their last two, albeit away from home against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Below, the YEP has all the latest injury news from both sides ahead of Sunday’s meeting at the Gtech Community Stadium.
