Leeds United face a huge ‘six-pointer’ in their next Premier League game at Brentford - for which blows have left six men out and two more as doubts.
The Bees and Whites are suddenly separated by just four points in the table after contrasting recent fortunes for the two teams.
Despite facing three consecutive huge tests against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, Daniel Farke’s Whites have picked up four points from their last three games.
Brentford have taken three points from their last three matches but approach Sunday’s visit of Leeds following back-to-back 2-0 away losses at Arsenal and Tottenham, results which followed a 3-1 win at home to Burnley.
Keith Andrews’ side now sit 14th in the table, four points above 16th-placed Leeds who could get within a point of the Bees with a victory. Defeat though would see Brentford boot seven points clear of them.
Sunday’s 4.30pm kick-off at the Gtech in West London is another huge game in United’s quest for Premier League survival but blows have left six men out and two more doubtful although two others are now back.
