Leeds United getting fresh big backing for Crystal Palace visit amid strong view on Eagles threat

Big fresh Leeds United backing for Sunday’s visit of Crystal Palace.

Leeds United have received strong fresh backing for Sunday’s next Premier League assignment at home to Crystal Palace.

Daniel Farke’s Whites soared into third place in the very early table with Monday night’s 4-1 win at home to Newcastle United and Leeds face another home game on Sunday with the visit of fifth-bottom Palace.

The Eagles have just three points on the board from their opening four games thanks to a 3-2 triumph at Fulham which has been sandwiched by defeats to Everton, Manchester City and most recently Ipswich Town.

Palace host Lech Poznan in a Europa League clash on Thursday night for which they are strong favourites but the bookies then strongly fancy Leeds to beat the Eales Sunday’s 2pm kick-off at Elland Road.

In big fresh backing for Farke’s side, United are odds-on favourites with every firm in no bigger than 4-5 but as short as 8-11 with some firms. The draw is on offer at 14-5 and Palace are not far off 4-1 shots in being as big as 18-5.

Fresh from his brace against Newcastle, Whites no 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin is clear favourite in the any time scorer market at 27-20.

Former Leeds target Jorgen Strand Larsen is considered the main Palace threat at 13-5 but only joint fifth in the market behind Calvert-Lewin, Lukas Nmecha, Noah Okafor and Harry Wilson.
