Which channel is Crystal Palace vs Leeds United on? Unusual TV selection explained with kick-off time & stream details
All the key information you need ahead of Leeds United’s Premier League trip to Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Leeds United are back in Premier League action this afternoon when they go to Crystal Palace. The Whites beat Norwich City 3-0 last time out to book themselves an FA Cup quarter-final tie at West Ham next month.
Immediate focus has returned to league action, however, with Leeds not yet clear of relegation trouble following consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Sunderland. And ahead of a big away-day for Daniel Farke’s side, the YEP has all the key information you need to know below.
When is Crystal Palace vs Leeds United?
The Whites head to Selhurst Park on Sunday, March 15, which is obviously today. Kick-off is at 2pm.
That game is one of four across the Premier League taking place today, with a couple of Leeds’ relegation rivals also in action. Nottingham Forest host Fulham while Tottenham Hotspur are due at Liverpool.
Is Crystal Palace vs Leeds United on TV?
It is indeed - although not where you’d expect to find it. Leeds’ trip to Crystal Palace will be shown live on Sky Sports Cricket, with build-up getting underway at 1pm.
Starting this season, Sky Sports now have the rights to broadcast multiple Sunday 2pm kick-offs simultaneously. The fixture time has become increasingly common due to English participation in European competition.
Any clubs who played on Thursday night - either in Europa League or Conference League - cannot play on Saturday. Palace, who drew 0-0 at home to AEK Larnaca on Thursday, are one of those teams but another was already selected for the main Super Sunday slot.
Aston Villa’s trip to Manchester United will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event while another 2pm game - Nottingham Forest vs Fulham - is on Sky Sports Premier League. And with a Scottish Premiership clash between St. Mirren and Rangers on Sky Sports Football, Leeds’ trip to Selhurst Park has been moved across to the Cricket channel.
How can I stream Crystal Palace vs Leeds United?
Those not close to a television can stream Sunday’s meeting between Leeds and Palace on the Sky Sports website or app. The game will also be streamed live on Now TV for those with a valid subscription.
And for those unable to follow the game via Sky Sports, be sure to visit the YEP as our live blog will be up and running from 11am - three hours before kick-off. We’ll have team news and build-up beforehand, plus minute-by-minute coverage of the 90 minutes.
And of course, YEP chief football writer Graham Smyth’s player ratings will follow immediately after full-time. There will also be reaction from both managers and analysis heading into the new week.
Crystal Palace vs Leeds United team news
Palace wing-back Daniel Munoz is a doubt for Sunday with a shoulder injury but will be assessed ahead of kick-off. Striker Jean-Philippe Mateta returned from his own fitness issues recently but Leeds January target Jorgen Strand Larsen is expected to start upfront. Eddie Nketiah it out.
Farke said on Thursday he is ‘cautiously optimistic’ of having Dominic Calvert-Lewin back following a small knee issue, with the striker back in training earlier this week. Noah Okafor also returned for a session but reported a hip problem and remains a major doubt.
