The minutes of every Leeds United player ranked with clear leader and 8 in select club

The minutes of every Leeds United player ranked from lowest to highest.

Leeds United ultimately finished eight points clear of the drop zone in their first season back in the Premier League - and 24 players helped the Whites to do it.

Boss Daniel Farke has never been one to wildly chop and change at Leeds although a big change during November’s defeat at Manchester City is widely seen as responsible for transforming the team’s fortunes.

Trailing 2-0 at the interval, Farke switched to a new 5-3-2 system which has largely been in place since. The move almost saw Leeds get a result at the Etihad, the Whites drawing level at 2-2 only suffer a last gasp 3-2 defeat.

But the system which relied heavily on defenders and also wing backs was here to stay and Leeds suffered just five more league defeats en route to sealing survival with three games left and then a 14th-placed finish.

Throughout the campaign as a whole, Farke called on 24 different players including eight of them who played 2000 minutes or more although one other player was close to also passing that marker.

But one man in particular played comfortably more minutes than anyone else. Here in reverse order, we run through the minutes played by every Leeds player in the club’s first season back in the Premier League.
