Harry Wilson stars as Man City & Southampton deals done - Dream Leeds United XI if transfer rumours are true
A look at how Leeds United could line up next season if reported summer transfer targets are signed.
Leeds United’s summer transfer business officially kickstarted this week with the arrival of Harry Wilson on a four-year deal. The Welsh international left Fulham following the expiration of his contract and joins the Whites as a free agent, having registered an impressive 10 goals and seven assists in 36 Premier League games last season.
Much of this summer’s business is likely to come after the World Cup but Leeds moved swiftly on Wilson and were hoping to do the same with Shea Charles. Reports suggest a two bids - the latter worth £23million plus add-ons - have been knocked back by Southampton but talks are ongoing.
With Karl Darlow set to join Manchester United, Leeds will also need to sign at least one goalkeeper this summer with a few names liked. Below, the YEP has put together a dream starting-XI for the opening-weekend trip to Nottingham Forest, should certain targets be signed.
