39 fantastic photos of Leeds United fans up for the FA Cup v Norwich City and Farke in Elland Road stands

Leeds United’s fans were most definitely up for the cup against Norwich City - and joined in the stands by their team’s manager no less.

Daniel Farke still didn’t agree with it but ultimately decided to accept his one-game touchline ban for his rare red card after the full time whistle of last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at home to Manchester City.

That meant Farke had to find himself a seat in the stands for Sunday’s fifth round FA Cup clash at home to Championship side Norwich City as Leeds looked to book a place in the competition’s quarter-finals for the first time in 23 years.

Norwich arrived top of the Championship form table taken over the last nine games but in truth were readily brushed aside by Farke’s team, despite United’s manager having made nine changes to his side.

Fans of all ages flocked to Elland Road to see Leeds continue their cup run for a full house attendance of 36, 213 inside the club’s famous home.

Yorkshire Evening Post photographer Steve Riding was there to capture the action and here are 39 fantastic photos of United’s fans plus their famous face in the stands.
