Further Leeds United support arriving ahead of Everton trip with strong view taken on Whites attacker
Leeds United continue their quest for Premier League survival with Monday night’s clash at Everton.
Leeds United are receiving fresh backing ahead of Monday night’s next Premier League assignment at Everton with a strong view taken on a Whites attacker.
Daniel Farke’s men ensured they remained eight points clear of the relegation zone with last weekend’s 1-0 win at home to Fulham despite victory for third-bottom West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur.
For Leeds, a Monday night trip to Everton is next, the Toffees themselves also recording a 1-0 success at the weekend at highflying Aston Villa which lifted David Moyes’ men into tenth place.
Moyes’ side sit six positions and seven points higher up the table than Leeds and will also have home advantage in Monday night’s 8pm kick-off at the club’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Further support arriving for Whites
The bookmakers, though, issued more fresh backing for Leeds in only making Everton marginal favourites and further support has since followed for Farke’s side who are now challenging for favouritism with some firms.
The Whites can still be backed at odds as big as 11-5 but United’s odds are generally shortening in the face of fresh backing and Farke’s men are now as short as 15-8 in places to leave with all three points. Everton are now a best-priced 6-4 whilst the draw is on offer at 9-4.
In more Leeds backing, the bookies have also taken a strong view on Whites striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin who is favourite in both the first scorer and any time scorer markets.
Calvert-Lewin is generally 6-1 favourite to score first ahead of Everton trio Iliman Ndiaye (7s), Thierno Barry (15-2) and Beto (15-2).
The Whites no 9 is just 21-10 to score, rated more likely than Barry (11-4), Ndiaye (3s) and Beto (16-5).
