Leeds United’s draw against Liverpool has been followed by fresh setbacks for key rivals and the bookies have made a strong Whites call in their new predicted final Premier League table.
Daniel Farke’s Whites moved out of the relegation zone with Wednesday night’s brilliant 3-1 at home to Chelsea which took Leeds up to 17th place, three points above third-bottom West Ham who then bagged a point from a 1-1 draw at Manchester United the following night.
Victory against Chelsea also left the Whites just one point behind fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest who then suffered a 3-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday afternoon.
Leeds then appeared set for defeat against Liverpool who led 2-0 through a rapid Hugo Ekitike brace but the Whites fought back twice to bag another point through an incredible 3-3 draw.

A typically brilliant goal from star man Jarrod Bowen seemingly had the Irons on course for a 1-0 victory which would have seen them re-join Leeds and Forest on 15 points and climb out of the dropzone at Forest’s expense.
Brighton, though, thanks to-ex Whites star Georginio Rutter inflicted a hammer blow as Rutter bagged a 91st-minute equaliser which sealed a 1-1 draw and left West Ham third bottom, two points behind both Leeds and Forest.
Sunday’s second game then provided 15th-placed Fulham with a chance to boot five points clear of Leeds and Forest with a victory at home to Crystal Palace but Marc Guehi headed home an 87th-minute winner to give the Eagles a 2-1 success which sent them fourth.
Defeat for Fulham leaves Marco Silva’s side just two points ahead of Leeds and Forest who are only four points behind 14th-placed Brentford who Leeds visit next.
Second-bottom Burnley, meanwhile, suffered a 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United which left them five points adrift of Forest and Leeds.
Wolves, marooned on just two points in last place, host Manchester United on Monday night.
