Former Leeds United ace set for English football return after move abroad as club agrees loan deal
A former Leeds United player is on his way back to England after a spell abroad.
Former Leeds United midfielder Glen Kamara is set for an English football return from Rennes having agreed a deal with a Championship side.

Kamara joined Leeds from Rangers in August 2023 and the Finland international midfielder made 42 appearances for the Whites whose season ended with defeat in the Championship play-off final to Southampton after their third-placed finish.
After just one year with the Whites, Kamara joined Ligue 1 side Rennes in the summer of 2024 but the 30-year-old has made only 18 appearances for the club who sent him out on loan to Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab in January 2025.
Upon returning from his loan spell, Kamara played just 88 minutes of football for Rennes last season and the midfielder has now agreed to join Championship side QPR on loan with an option to buy.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano shared the news on social media platform X, writing: “Excl: Glen Kamara has agreed to join QPR, deal agreed also between clubs with Rennes and here we go! Agreement on loan with an option to buy. Deal at paperwork stage.”
