Leeds United attacker in final stages of sealing loan move

A Leeds United attacker is in the final stages of sealing a loan exit.

Young Leeds United forward Harry Gray is the final stages of sealing another loan move in his ongoing development.

Gray, 17, younger brother of Tottenham’s ex-Whites star Archie, got himself on to the fringes of United’s first team last year and made his Whites debut as a late substitute in April’s 6-0 thrashing of Championship visitors Stoke City at Elland Road.

The teenager then flew out with the first team squad for their pre-season training camp in Germany ahead of the club’s Premier League return, Gray then making the bench for the Premier League clash at Wolves and EFL Cup game at Sheffield Wednesday.

In order to gain experience of first team football, Gray was loaned to League One relegation-battlers Rotherham United in January for the rest of the season and the teenager made 20 appearances for the Millers, bagging three goals and one assist in 1767 minutes of football for them.

The plan has always been to send Gray back out on loan for the 2026-27 season and as per Sheffield Star writer Alex Miller the 17-year-old is now going through the last formalities of joining League One side Sheffield Wednesday for the duration of the forthcoming season.

Fellow League One side Huddersfield Town were another side keen to take Gray on loan but the teenager will join the Owls where he will be reunited with ex-Leeds captain Liam Cooper.
