Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa tight-lipped as Sean Dyche reveals Burnley player reported incident to referee

Sean Dyche says a report will go in to the FA after one of his Burnley players reported an incident during the game against Leeds United.

Both Dyche and Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa were called together by referee Graham Scott during the second half of Leeds' 4-0 win at Turf Moor. Scott then spoke to Gjanni Alioski, with captain Luke Ayling also present, before the game went on.

Alioski had been involved in a confrontation with Burnley's Dwight McNeil, after the latter's challenge was deemed a foul. McNeil screamed at the Leeds defender and Alioski was later captured on camera sticking his tongue out and making a gesture.

McNeil was substituted in the immediate aftermath, although Dyche insisted that was a planned replacement, and then both managers were involved in a short discussion with Scott.

Speaking after the game Bielsa declined to comment.

"I would prefer the referee makes this public," he said.

Dyche was unwilling to reveal details of the incident but said a report would be passed to the FA.

"There was a report put into the referee and that will be passed on to the FA," he said.

"One of our players made a report and I was there just to be a witness of the report, not the incident."

A spokesperson for Burnley added that the club would be making no further comment 'while it was being investigated.'
