New key Leeds United rivals have lost their services of their manager - so how to the bookies now rate the Whites’ chances of surviving their second season back in the Premier League?
Leeds and Sunderland both broke the curse of newly-promoted teams going straight back down in the 2025-26 campaign, Leeds sealing a 14th-placed finish and Sunderland even managing to qualify for the Europa League in seventh place.
It was a different story for the previous season’s Championship runners-up Burnley who went straight back down along with Wolves and West Ham; the three teams being replaced by Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City in next season’s top flight.
Ipswich, though, are now on the hunt for a new manager following triple-promotion winning boss Kieran McKenna’s decision to step down as manager after five seasons with the club to step away from management and dedicate time to his family.
His departure is an undoubted blow for Ipswich so has it left next year’s battle for survival looking and with it Leeds United’s prospects of surviving their second season back?
Here, via the very latest relegation odds, is how the bookies now think the final 2026-27 Premier League table will look.
