How to vote with Leeds United star nominated for Premier League player of the month award
A Leeds United star has been nominated for the Premier League player of the month award.
Leeds United star Jayden Bogle has been nominated for the Premier League’s player of the month award for September in which he faces competition from seven others including two each from Liverpool and Brighton.
Bogle enjoyed a fine month in which he scored in the 1-1 draw at highflying Brighton, the right back also particularly impressive in the 4-1 win hammering of Newcastle United at Elland Road.
The defender also played 67 minutes of Sunday’s goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace as Daniel Farke’s Whites went into the international break unbeaten.
Despite his impressive form, Bogle was still not selected to be a part of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad but the defender has now been nominated for the Premier League’s player of the month award for September.
Brighton’s impressive start has seen both Pascal Gross and Charalampos Kostoulas nominated for the award whilst Liverpool also have two contenders in Alexander Isak and Jeremy Jacquet.
Manchester City’s Antoine Semenyo, Brentford’s Kevin Schade and Hull City’s Mohamed Belloumi complete the eight nominations.
Fans can help decide who wins the award for which votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to determine the winner, who will be revealed next week.
Voting is open until 12 noon on Monday, September 28 and voting can be made at the link HERE
Of Bogle, the Premier League nomination read: “Leeds maintained an unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign with a win and two draws in September and much is owed to Bogle’s influence at right wing-back.
He scored in the 1-1 draw against high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion and starred in the 4-1 demolition of Newcastle. Leeds onlY conceded only twice in three games across the month and boast the joint-tightest defence in the league, alongside Everton, which leaves them fifth after five matches.”
