The January transfer window is about to enter its second full week and it’s been relatively quiet around Elland Road so far. An impressive winter period on the pitch has helped to keep away any desperation off it and while Leeds United are expected to strengthen this month, panic buys are a no-go.
Last month, the YEP reported on Leeds’ likely exploration into the loan market with no temporary additions currently in the squad. Attacking quality is still a priority, as it was in the summer, while there have also been reports of defensive interest given Farke’s recent switch to a 3-5-2 formation.
The Whites could also wave goodbye to some players this month if suitable offers arrive, with links surfacing around potential moves domestically or abroad. Below, the YEP has rounded up the latest on every transfer story involving Leeds, be it incomings or outgoings.

1. Illan Meslier
Reports of January interest have been fleeting and when asked directly about his third-choice goalkeeper this month, Farke insisted he had no plans to lose anyone in his squad. The German did add that could change if a player expresses a desire to leave, although there is no suggestion that has come. | Getty Images

2. Jayden Bogle
Speculation surrounding the right-back's future was quickly put to bed by Daniel Farke. The Leeds boss insisted no such exit would be sanctioned for one of his most important players this month. | Getty Images

3. Charlie Crew
Crew's season-long loan at League One Doncaster Rovers has been cut short, with the midfielder returning to Leeds earlier this month. It remains to be seen if another temporary switch is to be lined up. | Getty Images

4. Jack Harrison
Joined Fiorentina on loan last week and the Serie A side have an option to make the move permanent for around £6m. Farke admitted his exit could open up an opportunity to recruit left wing-back cover, if an option arises. | Getty Images

5. Joel Piroe
The YEP reported earlier this month on known interest from Championship and foreign sides, albeit neither side is pushing for a move. The YEP also understands links to Celtic are wide of the mark, with a loan move of next-to-no benefit to Leeds' PSR position. | Getty Images

6. Joe Gelhardt
The young forward is halfway through a season-long loan at Hull and impressing, with 10 goals in 19 games. Tigers chairman Acun Ilicali recently admitted he is keen to sign the 'special boy' permanently in the summer, adding he doesn't expect Leeds to trigger any kind of January recall. | Getty Images
