Leeds United will end a busy week of big tests with Saturday evening’s visit of Liverpool - for which blows have left six men out and two more doubtful.
Both teams were in action on Wednesday evening, Leeds recording a brilliant 3-1 win at home to Chelsea as Liverpool’s recent struggles continued with a 1-1 draw at home to Sunderland.
Reds boss Arne Slot had key men missing for the Anfield visit of the Black Cats and star men have already been ruled out of Saturday evening’s trip to Elland Road.
Leeds, though, also have key players either out or doubtful following fresh blows. Here, we run through the early injury news from both camps.

3. SLIGHT DOUBT: Ao Tanaka
The third and final slight Leeds doubt, Farke revealing at Thursday's press conference that Tanaka was in the ice bath before Thursday's press conference had even started after recent demands. Farke said: "For Ao Tanaka it’s a bit more tricky, he has played both games, many minutes and had to invest a lot. He was in the ice bath before I joined the press conference. " | Getty Images

4. DOUBT: Joe Gomez
A new Liverpool doubt, though one expected to feature. Slot revealed at Friday's pre-match press conference that England-capped defender Joe Gomez had suffered a knock in last weekend's win at West Ham and was therefore unable to play 90 minutes against Sunderland in which he was brought off with 65 minutes on the clock. Slot, though, expected Gomez to train on Friday with a view to being back in the mix to face Leeds. | Getty Images

5. BACK: Conor Bradley
Liverpool's Northern Ireland international right back Bradley has missed his side's last three games with a muscular injury but Slot said on Friday that the 22-year-old had been back in training this week. The Reds boss expected Bradley to train on Friday and then be available to be in the squad to face Leeds. | Getty Images
