Is Leeds United vs Liverpool on TV? Coverage details and kick-off time explained
Coverage details as Leeds United now face defending Premier League champions Liverpool at Elland Road.
Leeds United will end a particularly demanding week with today’s Premier League visit of Liverpool - but what are the coverage details?
Daniel Farke’s Whites face Arne Slot’s defending Premier League champions under the Elland Road lights this evening, just three days on from the visit of title hopefuls Chelsea.
Despite home advantage, newly-promoted Leeds were seen as big underdogs against Enzo Maresca’s star-studded side but the Whites recorded a brilliant 3-1 victory which took them out of the division’s relegation zone at West Ham’s expense.
The success came just four days on from Saturday’s heart-breaking 3-2 defeat at another title-chasing side in Manchester City who cruised into a 2-0 lead only to be pegged back at 2-2 by a stirring Whites comeback after the break.
Phil Foden’s 91st-minute winner then shattered United hearts but Wednesday’s win against the Blues left Leeds fourth-bottom and two points clear of the relegation zone ahead of this weekend’s games.
Sky’s only Premier League game of the day
The visit of Liverpool was one of five fixtures from Game Week 15 selected for TV broadcast, picked to be shown on Sky Sports as their only Premier League game of the day.
The 12.30pm lunchtime kick-off between Aston Villa and Arsenal is on TNT Sports.
Sky Sports are also broadcasting the SPL clash between Kilmarnock and Rangers which is an 8pm start.
But Leeds vs Liverpool takes the teatime game slot and is available to watch on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
Liverpool begin the weekend sat ninth after a disappointing start to the campaign, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal and five points behind third-placed Villa.
The Reds, though, are only two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
