"Soon" - Lukas Nmecha makes Leeds United prediction with post-Aston Villa message and admission
Lukas Nmecha scored first for the second game in a row against Aston Villa - but ultimately en route to another defeat.
Whites striker Lukas Nmecha has made a Leeds United prediction with a post Aston Villa message and Whites admission.
Two weeks after being handed just a second Leeds Premier League start at Nottingham Forest, Nmecha kept his place in the side for Sunday’s hosting of Villa and again fired the Whites in front.
Just as he had done against Forest, Nmecha bagged the first goal of the game, reacting quickest as Anton Stach beat Villa keeper Emi Martinez to a Gabriel Gudmundsson cross to net from close range with eight minutes on the clock.
“Coming soon”
His strike had Leeds on course for a first win in three games only for Villa to net twice through Morgan Rogers after the interval en route to a 2-1 success.
The defeat has left United in the relegation zone after 12 games played and Nmecha has admitted the loss was hard to take but with a prediction that points will “soon” be forthcoming for his side.
Taking to his Instagram page, Nmecha posted three action photographs including one of United’s pre-match huddle together with the words: “Tough one to take but the points are coming soon.”
