Leeds United face the visit of arch rivals Manchester United in their next Premier League game - for which fresh blows have left four players out and six more doubtful but with three others now back.
Leeds saw their unbeaten start to their second season back in the country’s top flight ended in Saturday’s lunchtime clash at defending champions Arsenal who survived a huge scare in falling 1-0 down to eventually seal a 2-1 victory.
Later that evening, Manchester United’s stuttering start to the new season continued as they were pegged back by Dominic Solanke’s 92nd-minute equaliser for ten-men Tottenham Hotspur who left Old Trafford with a 1-1 draw despite having Rodrigo Bentancur sent off with 12 minutes left.
The Red Devils had led through Bryan Mbeumo’s strike but the draw left them on just six points after six games played, three less than the Whites.
Both teams had key men missing for the weekend’s games and fresh blows have now been added to the list.
Here, we run through the combined injury news from both camps which totals four players out and six more doubtful but with three others now back.
Leeds now have a free midweek ahead of Sunday’s 2pm kick-off but the Red Devils are in action in the Champions League in Spain on Tuesday night against Atletico Madrid.

1. DOUBT: Dan James
Whites winger James returned from Wales international duty with a back injury which saw him miss last weekend's first game back in the Premier League at Arsenal. James, though, was back on the pitch with his Leeds teammates on Thursday and now faces a late check. Farke said on Friday: "Since yesterday he was back on the pitch with us. We have to wait how his body reacts. But at least good news with him – he is back in training and seems to be improved. The intensity in the last days was not too high. We have to wait right now also how his body reacts and how he comes through the last two sessions before the game but there is a chance that he is involved.” | Getty Images

2. DOUBT: Luke Shaw
Manchester United's England international left back Shaw started last weekend's clash against Spurs but the defender was replaced in second half stoppage time by Ayden Heaven and footage then emerged on social media of Shaw limping as he left Old Trafford. Shaw then missed the midweek Champions League clash in Madrid and Carrick said on Friday that the Red Devils would wait and see how he was regards Sunday's trip to Leeds. | Getty Images

3. DOUBT: Kobbie Mainoo
Another Manchester United England international and another facing a late check. Midfielder Mainoo was another player to start Saturday's clash against Spurs in which he played the full match but, like Shaw, Mainoo also missed training on Monday and then did not travel to Madrid. "We'll see" was the verdict on both Mainoo and Shaw from Carrick at Friday's press conference. | Getty Images

4. DOUBT: Noussair Mazraoui
Manchester United defender Mazraoui returned from international duty with Morocco with a knock and failed to make the matchday squad against Spurs or Atletico Madrid. Another doubt. | Getty Images

5. OUT: Patrick Dorgu
Manchester United star Dorgu suffered a hamstring injury playing for Denmark during the international break, boss Michael Carrick saying he was looking at a number of weeks out. Confirmed as not training on Monday and still out. | Getty Images
