Bookies take strong view on Man Utd vs Leeds United clash with last laugh expected for Whites
How the bookies see it as Leeds United take on fierce rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The bookies have taken a very strong view on Leeds United’s huge Monday night Premier League clash at Manchester United but with Daniel Farke’s Whites predicted to have the last laugh.
Farke’s side are heading to Old Trafford for a massive game at both ends of the table, the Red Devils sitting third in their bid to seal a Champions League qualification place but Leeds fifth-bottom and three points clear of the dropzone.
The bookies quickly chalked up Michael Carrick’s side as strong odds on favourites for the match and Manchester United continue to be backed in, the hosts now as short as 1-2 with sone firms and no bigger than 4-7.
Leeds can be backed at 11-2 to leave with all three points and even the draw is on offer at 17-5.
DCL only sixth in anytime scorer market
The Red Devils also have the first six players in the any time scorer market which is just about headed by Benjamin Sesko at 6-4, just ahead of Bryan Mbeumo at 28-17.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is only seventh in the list at 14-5.
The bookies, though, ultimately expect Leeds to have the last laugh against key rivals in their battle for Premier League survival by staying up at the expense of Wolves, Burnley and now a very much troubled Tottenham.
Following Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat at Sunderland on Sunday, Roberto De Zerbi’s side are now clear third favourites to go down at 5-4 behind West Ham (9-4), Leeds (6-1) and Forest (13-2).
Well adrift bottom two sides Wolves and Burnley are both 1-500 and considered as good as down.
