Big Leeds United call made on Man United clash with huge change expected and massive boost for key rivals

Leeds United will finally resume their Premier League survival bid with Monday night’s clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

A big Leeds United call has been made on Monday night’s return to Premier League action against Manchester United at Old Trafford - ahead of which a huge boost is expected for key rivals.

Daniel Farke’s Whites will finally resume their quest for top-flight survival with Monday evening’s trip to Old Trafford, ahead of which Leeds have have lost just two of their last ten league games and with one of those losses being to Manchester City.

The bookies, though, have still made a very strong call on Monday’s match against the Red Devils in making Leeds a big price for a victory and Michael Carrick’s hosts heavy odds-on favourites to take all three points.

Despite the recent sold run of form from Leeds, the Red Devils are no bigger than 8-13 for victory and as short as 4-7 with some firms.

Leeds, meanwhile, can be backed at a big 9-2 to leave with all three points and even the draw is on offer at 16-5.

The Red Devils also have the first four players in the first scorer market which is just about headed by Benjamin Sesko at 8-5, marginally shorter than Bryan Mbeumo at 7-4.

Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes are both 21-10, just ahead of Whites no 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin at 5-2.

Leeds begin the weekend in 15th place and four points clear of the dropzone but the bookies are firmly expecting a huge change on Friday evening with a massive boost for third-bottom West Ham.

The Irons host bottom-of-the-table Wolves tonight in an 8pm kick-off and the Hammers are strong odds-on favourites to bag a huge three points despite having suffered 16 defeats already so far this season.

The hosts are no bigger than 9-10 but as short as 4-5 with some firms to bag a victory that would slash the gap to Leeds to just a point.

A victory for the Hammers would leave Tottenham third-bottom ahead of new boss Roberto De Zerbi’s first game in charge at Sunderland on Sunday afternoon in a 2pm kick-off.

The bookies are finding that game hard to call, both sides 7-4 joint favourites.

Spurs begin the weekend three points behind Leeds.

Fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, host Aston Villa in another Sunday afternoon 2pm kick-off, another game for which both sides are 7-4.

Forest start the weekend just one point behind the Whites whose position could look very different by the time they kick off at Old Trafford on Monday night.
