Leeds United return home on Monday after a long week on the road with Newcastle United their upcoming visitors in the Premier League. Daniel Farke’s side played brilliantly in a 1-1 draw at Brighton last weekend before a second-half collapse to lose 6-3 at Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
Farke rotated his team with eight changes for that midweek cup clash on Wednesday, handing out debuts to goalkeeper Michael Zetterer and left-back Melvin Bard. First-team regulars including Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were introduced from the bench when Leeds were chasing.
Monday night visitors Newcastle won their midweek Carabao Cup game 1-0 at Millwall but have a number of fitness issues to manage - including a fresh blow suffered at The Den. Below, the YEP rounds up the latest team news from both sides ahead of Monday’s Elland Road clash.

1. OUT: Joelinton
Combative midfielder Joelinton is yet to feature this season after picking up a thigh issue over the summer. The Brazilian is still rehabbing and Monday's trip to Elland Road will come too soon. | Getty Images

2. OUT: Dan Burn
Burn rolled his ankle at the end of August, suffering ligament damage but not requiring surgery. The 34-year-old isn't expected back until after the September/October international break and will certainly miss Monday's trip to Leeds. | Getty Images

3. OUT: William Osula
Speedy striker Osula is currently out of action with a foot injury and was recently seen wearing a protective boot. The Danish frontman's earliest possible return is against Hull City next weekend, although it's more likely he comes back after the international break. | Getty Images

4. DOUBT: Ewen Jaouen
The young goalkeeper missed Newcastle's midweek Carabao Cup win over Millwall with an ankle injury. Even if fit, he wouldn't be starting ahead of first-choice Lukáš Horníček. | Getty Images

5. DOUBT: Amar Dedic
A potentially massive blow for the Magpies, with £30m summer signing Dedic forced off in midweek with a hamstring injury. The attack-minded full-back is therefore a major doubt for Monday, although boss Matthias Jaissle said on Friday the issue isn't 'too serious'. | Getty Images

6. FITNESS BUILDING: Matias Fernandez-Pardo
The striker, a £51m deadline day arrival, hasn't been fit enough to start for his new club yet. Boss Jaissle admitted Fernandez-Pardo is 'getting closer' to a full debut with a late decision to be taken on his role come Monday. | Getty Images
