Club statement reveals major boost for Leeds United player
Latest news on Leeds United as we head closer to the January transfer window
Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani is set to bring an end to a frustrating spell during his season-long loan move to Valencia.

The former Almeria star scored seven goals and provided two assists in 31 appearances for the Whites as he helped Daniel Farke’s side return to the Premier League as Championship title winners. However, after an unused substitute appearance in the 1-0 home win against Everton on the opening night of the new top flight campaign, Ramazani’s future was placed in doubt after he was linked with a move away from Elland Road.
A loan move to Valencia was agreed in time for the winger to make his debut as a substitute against Getafe and he wasted little time in making an impact by providing an assist for his new side that helped round off a comfortable win on home soil. Ramazani has gone on to make four further appearances against Barcelona, Athletic Club, Real Oviedo and Girona - but a muscle injury was to put a temporary halt on his attempts to settle back into life in Spain.
Speaking last week, Valencia head coach and former Leeds assistant manager Carlos Corberan gave an update on his comeback, saying: “Of the four injuries we had, two were of one type and two of another. The former weren’t muscle injuries but tendon or cartilage injuries, and Foulquier and Ugrinic have returned. Now we have to see the training and match load. The muscle injuries, those of Diakhaby and Ramazani, were long-term. The expected return date for both is similar. They are still between ten days and two weeks from coming back, because when they return to full training will determine their return date. The recovery is going well, but the exact date is still unknown.”
There is light at the end of the tunnel for Ramazani after Valencia confirmed he had returned to training and he could now be in contention to face Rayo Vallecano next Monday night.
A statement on the La Liga club’s website read: “Valencia CF has returned to training after the victory against Levante UD and is already preparing the next match of La Liga EA Sports 2025/26 that will face Rayo Vallecano on Monday, December 1 at 9:00 pm at the Vallecas stadium. The novelty in today's afternoon training has been Largie Ramazani, who has performed several of the initial exercises with the team. The Belgian striker will gradually enter the next training sessions of the Valencian team.”
