Leeds United’s international stars should all be back at Thorp Arch by tomorrow after completing their November commitments. Nine of Daniel Farke’s first-team squad were away for the past week-and-a-half either completing their World Cup qualifying campaigns or partaking in overseas friendlies.
The final chunk of international action finished in the early hours of Wednesday morning UK time and barring any unseen issues, those first-team players look to have come through it all unscathed. Not only that, some of those to have racked up lots of early-season minutes at club level even enjoyed small rests.
Leeds host Aston Villa at Elland Road on Sunday and will need every ounce of energy to recover from consecutive away defeats, with Farke’s team selection likely to depend on what state some of those players return in. Below, the YEP takes a look at how much load each of those nine international stars managed over the break.
