A Leeds United star’s reaction to an international feat.

Leeds United new boy Nico Elvedi has issued a beaming seven word verdict after an international feat on his latest Switzerland outing.

Versatile centre-back Elvedi joined Leeds from Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer transfer window and the 29-year-old has quickly proved a hit, the defender playing every minute of United’s last three Premier League games.

Vastly experienced for the Swiss national side, the defender then flew out on international duty, the Leeds new boy continuing his long run of starts for his country when lining up for Saturday evening’s Nations League opener in North Macedonia.

Elvedi played every minute of every match for Switzerland this summer’s World Cup and the theme continued against North Macedonia, the Leeds defender on for the duration of a 3-0 success which the Whites star has hailed as a “perfect” start.

Taking to his Instagram page, Elvedi posted a series of photographs from the evening together with the message: “Perfect start to the UEFA Nations League.”

Whites team mates Tarik Muharemovic and Noah Okafor both showed their appreciation with hearts in the replies.
