The last chance to sign new players has been and gone - and the bookies have cast their new Leeds United verdict in their new predicted final Premier League table.
Leeds were looking to sign striker Jorgen Strand Larsen from Wolves but not at the expense of going above and beyond what they deemed a sensible valuation due to the club’s Profitability and Sustainability position.
The Whites saw a bid for Strand Larsen rejected last week but a host of other clubs were interested in his services, notably Crystal Palace who saw an offer of £48m accepted amid speculation over the future of Eagles striker Jean Phillipe-Mateta.
Mateta looked set to join AC Milan only for the Italian club to walk away from the deal but Palace still signed Strand Larsen who finally sealed his move to the Eagles on deadline day evening.
Strand Larsen’s move from Wolves to Palace proved the main deal on deadline day which passed without any ins or outs at Elland Road, unlike at the club’s key rivals.
Nottingham Forest left it late but eventually got a deal done to sign left back Luca Netz from Borussia Monchengladbach, albeit missing out on Celtic midfielder Arne Engels after a £25m bid was rejected.
Third-bottom West Ham, meanwhile, left it even later in their move to sign centre-back Axel Disasi from Chelsea on loan until the end of the campaign.
But as the dust now settles, how do the bookies think the final Premier League table will look?
Here, based on the very latest relegation and title odds is how they think the final table will look based on the very latest relegation odds, using title odds to determine sides expected to end up in the top half.
