New Opta Premier League supercomputer predicts Leeds United, West Ham & Sunderland final points and positions

Leeds United are just one point above the Premier League relegation zone following Sunday's defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Leeds United fell closer towards the Premier League relegation zone following a weekend in which they lost and some key rivals picked up rare wins. Daniel Farke’s side were beaten 3-1 by 19th-placed Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday, with Lukas Nmecha’s early opener counting for very little.

That was Forest’s second win all season and West Ham also got three more points on the board after beating Burnley 3-2 at the London Stadium on Saturday. Those results, coupled with defeats for the Clarets, Leeds and Fulham, means there is now just one point separating four teams between 18th and 15th.

Winless Wolves seem to be falling further behind but above them, it’s become very tight with Leeds one of five candidates for the other two relegation places. And following results over the weekend, Opta’s predicted Premier League table makes concerning reading for those in charge at Elland Road.
