Leeds United came from behind to earn a decent point on the road thanks to Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Brentford. The Whites fought back from 1-0 down to share the spoils, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring his fourth goal in as many Premier League games.
Leeds had the better chances during the first-half, with Noah Okafor twice coming close and seeing a cross for Jayden Bogle deflected clear. Brentford thought they had a penalty when Gabriel Gudmundsson was adjudged to have fouled Dango Ouattara, but replays showed the winger was just offside and VAR overturned the decision.
Much of the opening 25 minutes of the second half belonged to Leeds but they were hit with a sucker punch when Jordan Henderson made it 1-0, Rico Henry’s cross deflecting right into the midfielder’s path to score. Leeds got themselves back level on 83 minutes when Calvert-Lewin headed home a great cross from substitute Willy Gnonto, earning a good point.
YEP chief football writer Graham Smyth was at the Gtech Community Stadium to watch the action. Here are his Leeds United player ratings...

1. GK: Lucas Perri
6 - His kicking was erratic again, conceding possession in settled spells. Came up with a big save to spare Struijk's blushes. | Getty Images

2. RWB: Jayden Bogle
6 - Gave a few free-kicks away and his wayward stoppage time header could have been costly but he battled well throughout. | Getty Images

4. CB: Jaka Bijol
6 - Has to take some of the blame for the goal given how much involvement he had. Had defended solidly enough prior to that without adding much in possession. | Getty Images

5. CB: Pascal Struijk
6 - Started well, defended aggressively and then after a needless giveaway had a wobble. Looked shaky a couple of times. | Getty Images

6. LWB: Gabriel Gudmundsson
7 - Had some tricky moments but stood up well. His bursts forward were a problem at times for the Bees. | Getty Images
