Leeds United’s Roses derby against arch rivals Manchester United at Elland Road ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw - but how did we rate the performances?
A clattering early challenge from Ethan Ampadu on Carlos Baleba looked to be setting the tone but Leeds were unable to create any big chances, the only real opportunity falling to Nico Elvedi whose header from an Anton Stach free-kick was saved.
After initially struggling to get out, the Red Devils gradually began to cause more of a a threat and Michael Carrick’s side went ahead in the 35th minute through Bryan Mbeumo who got away from James Justin to convert a cross from Youri Tielemans who himself had got in behind Tarik Muharemovic.
The visitors took their 1-0 lead into the break but Elland Road erupted as Leeds levelled shortly after the restart through Dominic Calvert-Lewin who smashed the ball home from close range following Muharemovic’s knock down of an Anton Stach corner.
Leeds United writer Lee Sobot hands out the scores.

1. James Trafford
7 - Couldn't do much about the goal and some alert keeping when haring outside of his box to clear midway through the first half close to the halfway line. Alert again after the break. | Getty Images

2. Jayden Bogle
7 - United's brightest spark in the first half but without being able to make any breakthrough. Some lovely crosses into the box and solid against Dalot. Continued on the front foot after the break and even as a wing back he looked the one most likely to make something happen in open play. | Getty Images

3. James Justin
5 - Good early link up play with Bogle down the right but lost Mbeumo for the opener which was poor defending and his crossing wasn't great either. | Getty Images

4. Nico Elvedi
6 - Had United's only chance in the first half with a header which was saved. Some good early interceptions and generally a pretty good shift. | Getty Images

5. Tarik Muharemovic
7 - Started well enough with a couple of big headers but Tielemans got in behind for him for the cross which led to the opener. That said, Muharemovic then won the header at the corner for the DCL leveller and also sprayed some nice passes. Quite clearly one of the team's best players. | Getty Images

6. Gabi Gudmundsson
6 - Bit of a mixed bag down that side but cross for the opener came down that flank. | Getty Images
