Leeds United’s 2025/25 season ended in a meaningless defeat as they lost 3-0 at relegated West Ham on Sunday. Second-half goals from Taty Castellano, Jarrod Bowen and Callum Wilson condemned the Whites to a first league defeat in nine but they finished an impressive 14th regardless, while their hosts dropped into the Championship.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin had Leeds’ best chance of a tense first-half inside 35 minutes but was unable to beat goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from close range, following a mazy Lukas Nmecha dribble. The London Stadium mood grew tense amid news of Tottenham Hotspur going ahead but neither side could muster up an opener inside 45 minutes.
It took until minute 67 for West Ham to find their breakthrough, Castellanos heading home a corner amid some passive defending. The Whites were disappointing again as Bowen latched onto a Mateus Fernandes pass before firing past Karl Darlow 12 minutes later. Substitute Callum Wilson added a third in added-time but it made little impact on the outcome with Leeds long safe and the Hammers relegated.
