It’s been a difficult midweek for Leeds United following Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat to Sunderland and a couple of big results for their relegation rivals 24 hours later. West Ham beat Fulham on Wednesday night while Nottingham Forest drew 2-2 at Manchester City, with both now only three points short of Daniel Farke’s side.
Leeds do have a superior goal difference and there is another team between themselves and the drop, with Tottenham Hotspur’s midweek fixture coming at home to Crystal Palace this evening. Come full-time in North London, the Whites will either be 15th or 16th in the table with nine games to play.
Following this week’s results, statistical experts Opta have updated their predicted Premier League table and while Leeds remain well-backed to survive, their percentage chance of relegation has more-than doubled. Take a look below to see where they are expected to finish.
