Daniel Farke has a few key selection decisions to make ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to Brentford. Leeds United head to the Gtech Community Stadium with renewed optimism, having taken four points from home games against Chelsea and Liverpool last week.
Lukas Nmecha missed his side’s 3-3 draw against the latter due to a hamstring injury that will keep him sidelined for this weekend at least. Sean Longstaff and Daniel James are also unavailable due to longer-term calf and hamstring tendon issues respectively, albeit a full week of recovery means all other squad members are good to go.
Having started each of the last two games in a 3-5-2 formation before switching to a back-four at 2-0 down against Liverpool, there is a fresh air of unpredictability regarding how Farke might line up. But the YEP has given it a shot, with a change in midfield for Sunday’s game at the Gtech Community Stadium.

2. GK: Lucas Perri
Made a few important saves recently, particularly against Liverpool to thwart Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo. Seems to be growing into his role, although kicking still needs to be a bit better. | Getty Images

3. CB: Joe Rodon
Made a rare mistake against Liverpool and was bailed out by his teammates. Been excellent otherwise and will start his 102nd consecutive league and play-off game. | Getty Images

4. CB: Jaka Bijol
Relishing the central centre-back role but will have his hands full against 11-goal Igor Thiago on Sunday. Will also have to be at his best defending set-pieces. | AFP via Getty Images

5. CB: Pascal Struijk
Leeds might enjoy a little more possession on Sunday and so Struijk's influence on building from the back will be important. Another who will need to be switched on for set-plays. | Getty Images

6. RWB: Jayden Bogle
Defended well against Liverpool despite the early booking, which has taken him one away from suspension. Will have to be at his best to keep Dango Ouattara quiet. | Getty Images
