Leeds United’s Carabao Cup campaign continues on Wednesday night when they head to Chelsea in the third round. The Whites beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 last month to secure themselves a trip to Stamford Bridge and remain unbeaten in four games.
Manager Daniel Farke will be without the injured Joe Rodon while there is a ‘little question mark’ hanging over Dan James. There could also be some rotation to the line-up given the quick turnaround from last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Brighton.
Farke could also hand out debuts to a maximum of three summer arrivals. And with all that in mind, the YEP has attempted to predict how his Leeds side could line up at Chelsea.

2. GK: Michael Zetterer
While giving James Trafford more minutes with his new teammates would be helpful, Farke also needs to prepare for the unideal scenario in which his first-choice becomes unavailable. A debut for back-up Zetterer in cup conditions will do no harm and it would be good to get a proper look at the 31-year-old.

3. CB: Jaka Bijol
Dropped at Brighton for Nico Elvedi, the Slovenian should be well-rested and out with a point to prove. Despite Rodon's untimely, injury, Farke still has options at centre-back which is reassuring. | Getty Images

4. CB: Nico Elvedi
Made his debut in the previous round of the cup and looked excellent. Has settled into his new surroundings with consummate ease with Farke clearly a big fan. He and Bijol could feasibly switch between central and right centre-back roles if necessary. | Getty Images

5. CB: Tarik Muharemovic
One of only three outfielders to play all 360 available minutes so far, which paints a picture of how well Muharemovic has settled. The 23-year-old looks a serious piece of summer business but will be tested against an exciting Chelsea attack. | Getty Images

6. RWB: James Justin
Pushes into a more advanced role, allowing Jayden Bogle a well-earned rest. The first-choice wing-back was rested for Daniel James in the previous round but a new arrival means Justin can stick to his natural side, rather than moving across to the left. | Getty Images
