Leeds United took another massive step towards Premier League safety following their 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Friday night. Goals from Jayden Bogle, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin rounded off a commanding performance from the Whites, who stepped up when it mattered most.
Daniel Farke and his squad can now sit back and watch their relegation rivals over the weekend knowing they fulfilled their end of the bargain, with a nine-point gap on West Ham who are due at Burnley. The Whites are also now level on 29 points with Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur, who face Brighton and Manchester United respectively.
Things don’t get any easier for Leeds over the next few weeks but they enter a difficult run of games in a great position. Below, the YEP takes a look at their next five games and those of their rivals once this weekend’s action is over.
