Leeds United’s brilliant recent run of form continued with a well-deserved 4-1 win at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday night. Second-half goals from Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach built on Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s first-half brace to render a Justin Devenny penalty little more than consolation.
Victory means Leeds will spend Christmas Day six points clear of West Ham in the third and final Premier League relegation place, having taken eight points from their last four unbeaten games. The Whites also have an eight-point cushion on Burnley and are 17 points clear of rock-bottom Wolves.
With eight days to rest and recover before Sunderland away on December 28, Leeds can enjoy Christmas knowing they are well-placed heading into the New Year. Below, the YEP looks at how the next few weeks will pan out for Farke’s side and their key Premier League rivals.
