Leeds United slightly increased the gap on their Premier League relegation rivals following Monday’s 1-1 draw at Everton. The Whites went ahead on 28 minutes through James Justin and dominated the opening 45 without managing to double their lead, with Thierno Barry levelling midway through the second period.
Daniel Farke’s side opted to sit back and absorb pressure but it also allowed Everton to build momentum which eventually paid off. Leeds were forced to ride out more waves of attack but eventually held out for a potentially important draw on the road, which took them six points clear of West Ham in 18th.
The Whites now have a few days to rest and recover before welcoming title favourites Arsenal to Elland Road for another huge game. Below, the YEP takes a look at how the next few weeks will pan out for Farke’s side and their key Premier League relegation rivals.
