Leeds United saw out 2025 with a brilliant five-game unbeaten run thanks to Sunday’s 1-1 comeback draw at Sunderland. The Whites were a goal down going into the second-half but level shortly after, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin finishing Brenden Aaronson’s cross for his seventh goal in six appearances.
A point takes Leeds into 2026 two places and seven points clear of the relegation zone, having seen West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Wolves all lose on Saturday while Burnley drew at home to Everton. A little further up, Bournemouth were thumped 4-1 at Brentford.
Leeds now have just a few days to recover before entering 2026 with a difficult trip to reigning champions Liverpool, with whom they drew 3-3 at Elland Road earlier this month. Below is a look at how the next few weeks will pan out for Daniel Farke’s side and their key relegation rivals.
