Leeds United’s excellent start to the Premier League season continued with a dominant 4-1 win over Newcastle United on Monday night. A Lewis Miley own-goal was quickly followed by efforts from Jayden Bogle and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with Noah Okafor netting a fourth on the hour mark.
Daniel Farke’s side are unbeaten in four league games so far with their eight-point haul enough for third place at this early point of the campaign. While the club’s first goal is of course to hit 40 points and guarantee safety, talk is intensifying that Leeds could make a challenge for Europe.
Opta certainly think it’s possible, with their updated predicted Premier League table increasing Leeds’ position, expected points tally and Champions League chances following Monday's win. Take a look below to see where Farke’s side have been backed to finish.
