8.1-rated Leeds United monster makes Premier League Team of the Week alongside Man Utd & Spurs men

One Leeds United player has been recognised for his efforts at the Stadium of Light.

Leeds United produced another strong team performance to draw 1-1 at Sunderland last weekend - with one standout selected for a spot in WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Week. The Whites fell 1-0 down in the first-half through Simon Adingra’s brilliant opener but levelled shortly after the break, Dominic Calvert-Lewin rounding off an excellent back-to-front move.

That was Calvert-Lewin’s seventh goal in just six appearances but it’s not the red-hot striker who made this most recent team of the week, nor was it Brenden Aaronson, who set up the goal as part of an excellent performance. The West Yorkshire representation instead came through Anton Stach, who ran the midfield showing at the Stadium of Light.

Stach has been in brilliant form during Leeds’ five-game unbeaten run and on Sunday produced another monstrous midfield performance, winning possession in dangerous areas and helping his side pile on the second-half pressure. Take a look below to see who the German sits alongside, with top performers from the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City also named.
