The sun shone brightly - and so too did Leeds United’s supporters for the team’s long awaited return to Elland Road in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against RB Leipzig.
Here, thanks to Yorkshire Evening Post photographer Steve Riding, are 25 brilliant photos of the club’s fans who created a sea of yellow amid the very obvious popularity of the away shirt.
Despite the West Stand being shut amid the ongoing Elland Road redevelopment work, Leeds still managed an attendance of 24,630 who witnessed a 2-0 victory over 120 minutes of football or two 1-0 wins - depending on how you want to view it.
