Leeds United beat Premier League rivals Sunderland for their first win of the summer - but where do the bookies think they will finish in their second seasons in the top flight?
The Whites and Black Cats were both new to last season’s Premier League in which they were faced with bucking the recent trend of newly-promoted teams going back down.
Unlike the previous season’s Championship runners-up Burnley who were swiftly relegated, Leeds and Sunderland both survived their first season back, Sunderland even qualifying for the Europa League as they sealed a seventh-placed finish.
The Black Cats ended up finishing seven places and seven points higher up the table than Leeds who themselves ensured their top-flight survival with three games to go en route to finishing 14th and eight points clear of the drop zone.
Leeds, though, came out on top as the two clubs meet for a pre-season friendly in New Jersey in the early hours of Friday morning UK time, an early Lukas Nmecha strike sealing a 1-0 success.
It was only a friendly but it was nonetheless an early Whites boost against the Black Cats so where do the bookies now think both teams will finish come the end of the 2026-27 Premier League campaign?
Using their verry latest odds, here is their new predicted final table which includes a Leeds rise and fresh Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Everton calls.
