A first viewing of Leeds United has been provided ahead of the new Premier League campaign - so where do the bookies think the Whites will finish in their second season back?
Nine weeks after the final game of the 2025-26 season at West Ham, Leeds took in their first pre-season friendly at the weekend with a clash against rapidly rising Championship side Wrexham at the Raymond James Stadium in New Jersey.
Leeds were without several key players for the contest for which boss Daniel Farke went with a mixture of experience and youth in his starting line-up. It didn’t exactly start well, Leeds going 1-0 down after just 31 seconds and then missing a penalty but goals from Joel Piroe who had missed that spot kick and also Sean Longstaff led to the game being level 2-2 at the break.
Summer signing Harry Wilson was then brought on at the break and the Wales star made an immediate impression as Leeds created chances to go in front yet Farke’s side ultimately fell to a 3-2 defeat as Wrexham’s Sam Smith struck an 88th-minute winner.
Friendlies, of course, mean absolutely nothing regards the new season itself but it was nonetheless a first glimpse of what is going to be a new-look Whites. So what are the bookies thinking when it comes to where Leeds will finish in their second season back in the Premier League?
Here, based on the very latest odds, is where they think the Whites will end up versus the likes of Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Everton and newly-promoted trio Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City in their new predicted final table.
