Leeds United are heading for their second season back in the country’s top flight - and Artificial Intelligence has given its verdict on where the Whites will finish come the end of the 2026-27 Premier League campaign.
Leeds and Sunderland both survived their first season back in the Premier League, the Whites and Black Cats breaking the curse of newly-promoted teams going straight back down.
Daniel Farke’s Whites finished eight points clear of the drop zone in 14th place having seen their survival secured with three games still remaining.
Sunderland, meanwhile, even qualified for next season’s Europa League through a brilliant seventh-placed finish for the Black Cats.
It was, though, a different story for last season’s Championship runners-up Burnley who were relegated along with Wolves and West Ham.
The three teams will now swap places with Championship champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-offs winners Hull City who will all be new to the 2026-27 Premier League.
Coventry, Ipswich and Hull are among the bookies’ favourites to go straight back down but a team’s second season back in the Premier League is often considered even more difficult than the first one back.
So does Artificial Intelligence see it? Ahead of the new season, we asked Google Ask Gemini how it thought the final table would look and why and here are the results.

14. 14th: Tottenham Hotspur
Points: 44. Chat GPT adds: "My biggest surprise pick is Tottenham finishing only 14th despite improving under their manager, as I think balancing domestic and cup competitions could hold them back." | AFP via Getty Images
