Leeds United took another small step towards Premier League safety on Sunday in what felt like a massive 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace. The Whites were a man down for the entire second-half following Gabriel Gudmundsson’s controversial red card but defended with their lives to keep Oliver Glasner’s side from registering a single shot on target.
That point has essentially left Leeds where they were before a ball was kicked last weekend with West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest also drawing. And so with eight games remaining, Daniel Farke’s side are three places and three points above the drop zone, with a superior goal difference to boot.
Following the weekend’s results, statistical experts Opta have updated their predicted final Premier League table with each of the four main relegation candidates assigned a percentage chance of dropping into the Championship. Take a look below to see where they expect Leeds to finish.
