Leeds United successfully navigated their first season back in the Premier League - and a new supercomputer has now worked out how the Whites will do next time around.
Leeds and also Sunderland both broke the curse of newly-promoted teams going straight back down, United eventually finishing 14th and Sunderland even qualifying for the Europa Conference League in seventh place.
Last season’s Championship runners-up Burnley were the only newly-promoted side to go straight back down, the Clarets finishing second bottom and now heading back to the country’s second tier along with Wolves and West Ham.
West Ham, Burnley and Wolves will now be replaced by Championship champions Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City in next season’s Premier League for which Arsenal will be defending champions.
With the dust now settled from Sunday’s final day, BettingLounge have booted up their newly-minted supercomputer model for the 2026/27 season to predict how next season will go.
Featuring fresh Whites backing. here is their very early first predicted final table from bottom to top.
