Leeds United transfers as deadline day update emerges on Fulham Harry Wilson decision amid Everton approach

The Welsh international is believed to remain a transfer target for Leeds United in the upcoming summer.

Leeds United summer transfer target Harry Wilson has been the subject of a late enquiry from Everton, according to reports.

Interest in Wilson has been steadily growing across the Premier League following an outstanding first-half of the 2025/26 campaign. The Welshman is Fulham’s most productive player with eight goals and four assists in 23 Premier League appearances, helped by a recent run of three strikes in five.

Leeds can stake a claim to have been keen on Wilson prior to that recent run, having seen a summer deadline day move fall through at the death. Elland Road chiefs submitted a deal sheet in the hope of getting a deal done after the initial deadline but a change of heart at Craven Cottage left them empty handed.

Wilson’s Fulham contract is due to expire this summer and with talks on hold, he is currently set to leave Craven Cottage for free when the 2025/26 campaign ends. But according to BBC Sport, one of Leeds’ Premier League rivals had made a move to sign the forward this month.

The Toffees reportedly made an enquiry surrounding Wilson last week, which coincides with their confirmation of a potentially season-ending foot injury for Manchester City loan star Jack Grealish. That approach was rejected by Fulham, however, with Wilson expected to see out the season in London.

Talks over a contract extension are believed to be on hold, although Fulham understandably want to keep the forward beyond this summer. Wilson, however, is believed to be leaning towards finding a fresh challenge elsewhere, with Leeds still thought to be interested.

TalkSPORT reported last week that Leeds remain a potential destination for Wilson but there is increased competition with Everton also named alongside Sunderland and Crystal Palace. The Welshman could already be speaking with foreign clubs over a pre-contract agreement, but he cannot discuss terms with any of Fulham’s domestic rivals.

Leeds will be freshly on the lookout for a right-wing/No.10 profile this summer, having only filled the gap on a temporary basis earlier this month. The Whites welcomed Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton for the remainder of the season but will need a more permanent Premier League option, should they avoid relegation.
